I. Features and Benefits

• Economy Passive PCI Board (no microprocessor on board)
• Easily expandable through on-site bus extensions and expansion boards
• Up to 4 CAN channels (high speed/low speed switchable)
• CAN interface electrical isolation
• Unified driver package that supports all Ixxat CAN and CAN-FD interfaces and allows easy change of PC interface type
• Powerful programming interface, available as ”VCI” for Windows and “ECI” for Linux, QNX, RTX, INtimeh and VxWorks.”

Up to 4 CAN channels are available on the CAN-IB300/PCI and support electrical isolation interfaces. For automotive applications, the high-speed CAN channels can be optionally switched to low-speed CAN via software, and the modular architecture of the interface boards allows for easy expansion with customized applications via backpack modules.

If desired, the number of CAN interface channels can be expanded by using multiple boards on a single PC.
