First of all, thank you for your interest in Hongke!

In this special issue, we will bring you two practical examples of Pickering modules used in semiconductor testing, and hope that they can help you with your test system.
________
Driven by the Internet of Things, millimeter wave, silicon photonics, artificial intelligence and other technologies, the country is vigorously developing the semiconductor industry, the semiconductor industry is welcoming a new round of development opportunities. While these new technologies are making breakthroughs, the whole industry is also striving to meet the requirements for higher performance, smaller size and lower cost of chips, etc. Semiconductor testing, as a key part of the semiconductor industry, is also facing a serious challenge. As a key part of the semiconductor industry, semiconductor testing is also facing serious challenges. HONGKE has been actively responding to the market demand, and is committed to providing a variety of high-efficiency, low-cost semiconductor test solutions.

Case 1: Semiconductor Packaging Open Short Circuit Test Solution
Customer Needs and Solutions

Amkor Technology is one of the world's largest providers of contract semiconductor assembly and test services. Amkor needed to develop a new test system - one part of the system was to be used for open and short circuit testing of semiconductor packages. The project required a very large matrix 3072 x 4 matrix switch configuration to perform four-wire measurements, as it would be used in many test applications. After a series of comparisons of options, three Pickering LXI-interfaced, high-density matrix modules (Model 60-553-008) were used. These LXI matrix modules are comprised of electromagnetic relays, which are less expensive in the marketplace, and can allow 10,000 open and short-circuit tests. These LXI matrix modules are constructed from electromagnetic relays, have a lower price point in the market, and are capable of allowing 1,027 intersections to be closed at the same time. In addition, this matrix module has an internal relay self-test function, making system maintenance easier and faster.
Case 2: Microwave Relay Measurements with PXI
Customer Needs and Solutions

Radiall is a manufacturer of microwave relays from France. The contact characteristics of each microwave switch are comprehensively tested in an environmental chamber under different environmental conditions before delivery to the customer. The goal was to improve the performance of the test bench used to measure the Radiall microwave switches. After analysis and negotiation, it was decided to use a new solution, a 64 x 4 FET-based multiplexer, to solve the problem. The use of FETs allows the system to have an almost infinite lifetime, while the four-terminal measurement compensates for the channel resistance inherent in FET switches. Successful implementation of PXI on test platforms makes integration quick and easy, and provides a great experience for end customers.
