2019 Kia Forte, equipped with G4FG engine, accumulated mileage of about 93,000 kilometers, the owner of the car went to the store and reported that the engine malfunction light occasionally illuminated abnormally. Using a pico oscilloscope to simultaneously measure the near-light power supply, FTPS power supply, signal and brake booster vacuum pressure sensor signal waveforms, it was found that when the near-light switch was turned on, the near-light power supply appeared to be significantly fluctuating, and at the same time interfered with the 5 V power supply of the FTPS, so that the signal of the FTPS was also synchronized with the abnormal fluctuations.
