一輛2013款斯巴魯BRZ車，搭載FA20水準對置發動機，累計行駛里程約為6萬km。該車因發動機冷卻液溫度過高，在其他維修廠更換了氣缸墊，更換完成後試車，冷起動後發動機怠速抖動嚴重，過一會兒發動機冷卻液溫度稍微升高後排氣管“放炮”，且發動機依然抖動。由於故障是在更換氣缸墊後出現的，因此維修人員懷疑發動機正時沒有對好。重新校對2次發動機正時後試車，故障依舊，於是將車開至我廠進行維修。
一輛Chrysler PT Cruiser必須節氣門全開才能啟動否則火花塞會積塞過多的燃油。一旦最終起動了之後，汽車會抖動，但是在轉速1200RPM以上可以行駛。如果轉到怠速，汽車會發出號叫聲並且熄火。尾氣管有時會冒出黑煙。檢查發現故障燈亮，不斷報故障碼P0172（系統（空燃比）太濃 （第1排））。除此之外沒有其他故障碼。
