First 19” OCP open rack installation at China Telecom Data Center.
Nexedi purchased two sets for its new Rapid Space site in Xinzhou, Shanxi, China. 19" Rack ESA Kit with OCP Tioga Pass L10 Server。The hardware is manufactured and supplied by Mitac in Taiwan and is paired with an Edgecore AS5812 switch to enable all OCP servers to connect over 10Gbps LAN and 1Gbps Internet Transit. The deviceto be delivered to the China Telecom Data Center in late 2019.But the installation program was shut down due to the outbreak.……

January 2020 Covid-19 Since Wuhan's rapid proliferation, cities across China have been closed and cross-province traffic halted.Nexedi's China-based engineers were stranded in Anhui province, unable to travel to the data center, while the rest of the team with OCP installation capabilities were abroad.
