PROFINET Master Simulator
PROFINET Master Simulator is an easy-to-use software for exchanging data with PROFINET slaves from many vendors. Software only. Two versions are available, a basic version for PROFINET and a Plus version that supports non-cyclic data, PROFIsafe and I/O data logging.
Even without a PROFINET master, the PROFINET master emulator can exchange data with many PROFINET slaves. In addition, the PROFINET master emulator processes GSD files as well as specially configured inputs to initiate data exchange with PROFINET slaves.
The identification, renaming and address assignment of PROFINET slaves is also possible. In addition, the data, especially the diagnostic functions, can be displayed in binary, hexadecimal and now also in ASCII code. The output data can be transferred consistently. In type mode, the outputs can be set by simply pressing the mouse button.
In addition, it supports the PROFIsafe module as well as the logging function for I/O data and allows operation in acyclic mode (logging data CR). However, since the PROFINET master emulator is a monitoring and commissioning tool for PROFINET slaves, it is not designed to control automation processes.
