Application Examples] Spectrum AWG in Quantum Computing

The Spectrum AWG can replay loaded waveforms from its 4 GB internal storage at speeds of up to 1.25 GS/s. The Spectrum AWG can also be used as an analog output signal with defined offsets and amplitudes. Convert digital signals to analog output with defined offsets and amplitudes using 16-bit D to A conversion to provide fine signal detail that mimics the real world.

Product Solution] Why do people choose Spectrum to measure machinery? (I)

When using a modular digitizer to measure mechanical equipment, a variety of sensors are required to facilitate the conversion of mechanical parameters (such as force, acceleration, pressure, speed, etc.) into electrical signals that you can test. The key to choosing a digitizer is to have enough bandwidth, number of channels, and dynamic range to handle the sensors. digitizerNETBOX with 16-bit resolution supports a dynamic range of 96 dB and provides up to 16 analog input channels.

Product Example] Spectrum Digitizer and AWG, a high-precision PCIe test card for ocean acoustic wave simulation research, are used in a new underwater acoustic laboratory.

The acoustics research team in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Brigham Young University has put Spectrum's leading digitizers and signal generators at the heart of its new underwater acoustics lab. The lab simulates a miniaturized version of the ocean environment, enabling a wide range of experiments on the behavior of sound waves in different layers of water and how they are reflected in the ocean's most sampled surface materials, such as rock, sand or mud. Such miniaturized experiments require a high degree of precision in the measurement equipment in order to magnify the results to a realistic scale.
