HiL Simulation of Airbag Control Unit
To build a complete HIL simulation of the airbag ECU, the internal acceleration sensor signal (SPI) of the ECU is connected to the external acceleration and pressure sensor signal (PSI5). Additionally, the ignition timing can be measured and analyzed using a SQUIB box, and the simulator can be connected to a PC system via a USB port or network for data processing.
Typically, up to six or more PSI5 Simulyzer modules operate in conjunction with multiple SPI Simulyzer modules. In order to coordinate these modules, there is a high level configuration that determines which Simulyzer is used, which signal paths are assigned, and a detailed configuration that sets the bus parameters. This high-level configuration makes the operation of the API very simple. At the same time, continuous monitoring of sensor signals is possible, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the simulation process.
