With adjustable color bands with replaceable filters, the SPECTRA X Solid State Light Source provides six solid state light sources that produce output in seven color bands (violet, blue, cyan, teal, green, yellow, and red) throughout the visible spectrum. A set of seven filters, one for each color band, is included with purchase.

Here we also give the range of available bandpass filters. Additional filters and filters can be purchased at any time to increase the bandpass range of the light source combinations in the light engine. With a consistent exchange of each output through the filters in the light engine's beam, the user is able to focus on data acquisition and analysis, rather than on light source tuning and maintenance issues.
