Description

I. Overview

9kHz-27GHz, Built-in GNSS Module, Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer R5750-427-O

The HongKong thinkRF R5750-427 Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer integrates Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) acquisition of position and time-stamped information based on innovative, software-defined radio technology to deliver the performance of a traditional lab-grade spectrum analyzer at a fraction of the cost, size, weight and power consumption. Designed for distributed deployment in the lab, field or vehicle, the portable, fanless HONGKE thinkRF R5750 delivers the advantages of a high-performance, software-defined RF receiver, digitizer, and analyzer.The R5750-427-O features a weather-resistant enclosure and IP67-rated on/off buttons and LEDs.

Product Features

  • Compact (257.3 x 193.7 x 60 mm), portable (2.72 kg), quiet (fanless)
  • Gigabit Ethernet-based control and communications; networked and remotely deployable real-time spectrum analyzer
  • GNSS module with embedded 10MHz reference clock source for further RTSA time synchronization
  • Wide Instantaneous Bandwidth Modern waveforms such as the 802.11ac standard utilize bandwidths occupying up to 80 M Hz of the waveform, while LTE-Advanced is designed to utilize bandwidths of up to 100 M Hz. The R5550 provides instantaneous bandwidths of up to 100 M Hz in its Direct Inverter Frequency (ZIF) mode.
  • Deep dynamic range, RF measurements used to characterize IP3 typically require a dynamic range of approximately 100 dB. The R5550 supports multiple ADCs to provide wide IBW with 70 dB dynamic range and narrow band IBW with 100 dB dynamic range.
  • Hybrid super-exception, direct-conversion and direct-digitizing RF receiver front-end (RFE)
  • 10 MHz input and output clock reference for multi-cell synchronization
  • 125 M samples/s 14-bit wideband (WB) ADC with dynamic range greater than 70 dB
  •  A 325 k samples/s 24-bit narrow-band (NB) ADC with a dynamic range of more than 100 dB
  • Xilinx's Zynq FPGAs, which feature a dual-core ARM-based processor, a Gigabit Ethernet interface and customized embedded digital signal processing (DSP) logic;
  • 1 GB DDR3 shared between firmware and real-time cache of digital data
  • General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) Ports
  • The hardware architecture is as follows:
