PCIE Digitizer M2p.5923-x4 16Bit 20MS/s 10MHz
A digitizer is an electronic acquisition device that acquires analog waveforms, processes them through an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and sends the digitized samples to a buffer zone where they are stored before being processed by a computer. Waveform digitizers are plug-in cards for PCs or industrial PCs that are used to measure continuous voltage signals as well as fast signal changes such as voltage transients. For this reason they are also called transient recorders.
Based on the PCIe bus, Avision Digitizer products are divided into 2 series according to the different PCIe interface forms:
- M2p Series: PCI Express x4 Interface
- M4i Series: PCI Express x8 Interface
Description
I. Product overview
The M2p.59xx series allows recording of up to 8 single-ended channels or up to 4 differential channels, all at sample rates up to 125 MS/s. These PCI Express cards offer excellent A/D capabilities in terms of resolution and speed. The cards are switchable between single-ended inputs with programmable offsets and true differential inputs. When used in differential mode, every two inputs are connected together, cutting the number of available channels in half. The 16-bit vertical resolution is four times more accurate compared to 14-bit cards and 16 times more accurate compared to 12-bit cards. All cards of the M2p.59xx series can fully utilize the entire installed on-board memory, up to 512 MSamples, for the number of currently enabled channels.
