Function Overview:
The Kvaser U100 is a ruggedized CAN/CAN FD to USB interface that supports CAN FD up to 8Mbit/s and offers 5000VAC enhanced current isolation and IP67 protection. Its impact-resistant glass fiber reinforced housing is suitable for the industrial, marine, heavy machinery and electric vehicle markets. Built-in intuitive LEDs with DB-9 connectors and compatibility with J1939, CANopen, NMEA 2000 and DeviceNet ensure efficient and secure CAN communication.

• Supports 11-bit (CAN 2.0A) and 29-bit (CAN 2.0B active) recognition words.

• 20,000 messages per second, each message timestamped with an accuracy of 100 microseconds.
• SocketCAN is supported.
