Quality pressure and vacuum control
Two Cobalt versions are available; both can control gas or flow when used with a flow sensor.

Cobalt technology improves the performance of microfluidic instruments and makes their ease of use a reality. This autonomous microfluidic pump is based on the OB1 MK4 controller (our Elveflow® bestseller) designed to use piezoelectric based pressure regulation.
Unique performance compared to syringe or peristaltic pumps
The Elveflow® Cobalt autonomous microfluidic pump offers superior fluidic performance compared to microfluidic syringes or peristaltic pumps. Because it does not use mechanical parts to generate pressure, it produces smooth flow with the highest precision.
When used in conjunction with the MFS flow sensors in our product line, Cobalt can generate powerful flow control by..:
- High stability in the range of 0 to 5 ml/min.
- Repeatability in water from 3.5 nl/min (MFS2) to 1 µl/min (MFS5)
- High accuracy: from 20 nl/min (MFS2) to 10 µl/min (MFS5) in water
No gas/vacuum supply required
The Cobalt is the ideal desktop unit. It is equipped with a pressure (and vacuum) source, so there is no need for an external compressor or laboratory gas supply. Its design minimizes vibration and volume.
Embedded User Interface
Cobalt's intuitive firmware is fully controllable without the need for external software. Its user-friendly interface includes a knob button to easily modify settings.

The Cobalt is the perfect device to go beyond basic fluid control for a wide range of applications:
