The Anybus Edge gateway is designed to be easy to use. Use HMS Sequence, a powerful graphic programming tool, to construct the graphics you need on your edge smart devices. Configuration and deployment can be done on-site or remotely through a simple web interface.

- Firewalls, OpenVPN and password protection - it is vital to control access to your devices. Access should not only stop connections, but also ignore them completely - to avoid being paralyzed by denial-of-service attacks.
- Root Access Authentication - Controlling root access to the system ensures that certain routines are never disturbed.
- TLS Data Encryption - Protecting privacy and data integrity through strong encryption means no manipulation is required to get data where it needs to be.
- Standard Port Usage - The appliance utilizes outbound HTTPS connections to push and pull data, allowing for easy integration with standard firewall environments.
