CiA Organizes CAN XL Interoperability Testing Conference and Update on Progress
Across the street from the Troy SAE office, CiA members tested the interoperability of CAN XL nodes. About 30 attendees began installing their CAN XL products early on April 24th.
After resolving some difficulties in configuring the same bit times, testing of the CAN XL protocol began in the morning. FPGA implementations from Bosch and Vector have already been successfully tested in the first two interoperability tests in Nuremberg in 2021 and 2022. In the first two tests, IP cores from Fraunhofer/Cast also participated successfully. This time, Kvaser's IP core is a newcomer.
