MAXTRON customizes any of our programmable laboratory tile test equipment to your unique specifications. We can also easily integrate various functions into custom-designed modules, subsystems, desktops, or rack units and offer them as turnkey test solutions. We are experts in RF/microwave programmable hardware and software system design, and our integration experience will save you valuable time and money in the race to bring RF/microwave components and wireless systems to market.

Our experience in customized RF/microwave test equipment and system design includes:

  • Portable lab modules tuned to specific frequency bands (wide or narrow) up to 40 GHz
  • Enhanced signal generator configured to linearly sweep a range of frequencies while providing low noise, fast switching, fine frequency resolution, phase-continuous frequency sweep (LFM), and high-speed internal or external pulse modulation.
  • Enhanced attenuators with ultra-fine steps and integration into multi-channel racks as attenuator matrices or complete wireless switching test systems
  • Multi-Channel Frequency Synthesizer with Multiple Connection Ports
  • RF/Microwave Active Signal Splitter/Digital Attenuator Module Saves Space and Costs
  • Various Input/Output and Programmable Interface Connector Options

All phase shifter settings can be done on one screen. The right side offers a "Frequency (MHz)" setting and up/down arrows to set the operating frequency for improved accuracy. Phase Shift adjustment is done by simply entering the number of degrees or using the arrows. The default steps are 1, 10, and 90 degrees, with the option to set a custom step by selecting "Other". The lower box allows setting the scan start/stop phase, step size, dwell time (1-20,000 ms per step) and idle time (1-120,000 ms). Select Directional Scan to support bi-directional scanning, set the dwell and hold times, or select One Time for single scanning. "Repeat mode automatically repeats the scanning cycle. Configuration files can be customized for scanning sequence and support txt or prf file format.

Macronix continues to enhance our standard Lab Brick test instrument suite with unique customized solutions to support customer-specific test system integration up to 20 GHz. The core technology of the recently custom designed and manufactured splitters/attenuators includes 600 MHz to 6 GHz bi-directional frequency coverage, 8 channels, and a typical accuracy of < 0.25 dB over a 90 dB control range. Input level tolerances of up to 2 watts are available in steps of only 0.1 dB. They provide our customers with an ideal integrated test unit for rapid development of radio fading test systems.

Designed for cellular, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi 6E testing in the L, S and C bands, the Lab Brick LPD series of RF power dividers/combiners offer 2, 4, 8 and 16 splitter options for ATE racks and desktop testing. Available products include the LPD-752 series:

  • LPD-752-2: 2-way splitter, 700-7,250 MHz, with excellent amplitude and balance.
  • LPD-752-44-way, 0.5 dB amplitude with 6 degrees of phase balance.
  • LPD-752-8: 8-way, compact design, direct panel mount.
  • LPD-752-16: 16 way with a footprint of 7.85” x 0.6”.
  • LPD-752-16-2QDual 16-way rack mount design for ATE systems.

Vaunix's power splitters for 5G, Wi-Fi and Satcom MIMO testing simplify ATE setup and increase test flexibility.

Macronix recently introduced a built-to-order and customizable low-phase noise multiport synthesizer that supports up to four independently controlled sources. Its optimized architecture provides excellent phase noise and spurious performance with 100 MHz GPSDO compatible reference inputs, independent phase control and excellent harmonic rejection. Ideal for 5G high data rate communications, radar reception testing, RF/microwave laboratories and wireless ATE systems.

MAXTRON introduces an integrated, fully programmable, on-specification digital attenuator for RF/microwave testing needs. The latest bi-directional attenuator offers 16 channels in a 19-inch chassis, supports USB power supply and PC programming, and covers the 200 MHz to 8 GHz band with an accuracy of 0.1 dB and a control range of 120 dB with a typical accuracy of < 2.5 dB.

Acer's customized attenuators are adjustable in bandwidth, attenuation range, and mechanical configurations for high-precision 5G, WiFi, and PTP testing needs, and can be programmed to fix the attenuation or sweeping curve through a graphical user interface (GUI). LabVIEW drivers, Windows API DLLs, Linux drivers, and Python samples are also available for users to develop their own interfaces.

With a convenient USB HID interface, the globally recognized Acer software eliminates the hassle of setting up legacy serial or IEEE-488 interfaces and supports quick setup for low-cost embedded systems, with Ethernet control options.
