Application

IV. Modes of Operation

The Vibration Recorder is connected to the goods to be transported before shipment, initialized and activated using threshold values. Throughout the transportation route, the Vibration Recorder stores events such as shocks, vibrations or temperature fluctuations that occur outside of the preset tolerance limits. The recorded data can be read and automatically transferred at any time using a smartphone application or PC software and a USB card reader.
Milliseconds of meaningful detail

Detailed shock event data is essential for evaluation and interpretation in the event of damage. The sensor records the time course of impacts on all three axes in milliseconds. A total of 19 values in this section are used to analyze the process accurately, to draw conclusions about the effects and to make a significant contribution to the evaluation and package optimization in case of damage. In summary, the sensor permanently stores the first shock event as well as the other eight highest shock events in this granularity. Therefore, ASPION shock sensors offer a unique depth of detail compared to all other data loggers in the same price range.
