PLC 資料傳輸效能：可與控制器（PLC）進行 單向最高 1500 bytes 的資料傳輸（依網路而定），雙向合計 3000 bytes。 透過 雙 10/100 Mbit 全雙工 RJ45 乙太網埠 進行通訊，並內建交換器，支援 串接（Daisy Chain） 架構。
Modbus RTU PLC 資料傳輸：透過 RS232／RS485 介面，可與 Modbus RTU 控制器（PLC）進行 單向最高 1500 bytes 的資料傳輸（雙向合計 3000 bytes）， 支援 最高 128,000 bit/s 鮑率。 內建 Modbus RTU Server（Slave），支援 Modbus 診斷功能與裝置識別。
- 可選式工業乙太網通訊協議 ：單一 Communicator 即可涵蓋多種通訊協議，支援 EtherNet/IP、EtherCAT、Modbus TCP、PROFINET。 可自產品頁下載所需協議的韌體，並透過 Communicator 介面進行更新。
- 即時資料傳輸 ：資料可在不同網路間 即時轉換與傳輸，處理延遲極低，幾乎可忽略，僅與網路抖動（Jitter）相關。 實際傳輸時間僅需計算 雙方網路的循環時間（Cycle Time）。
- 透過乙太網進行 Web 介面設定：採用圖形化、即時回應的 Web 設定介面，操作直覺、設定快速。 無需額外安裝軟體，並具備 專用乙太網設定埠，可快速完成初始設定。
- 診斷功能與技術支援：使用者介面可即時顯示 連線狀態，並監控通過閘道器的資料。 透過 Status Byte 與 Clear Data 功能，可監控並控管離線狀態行為。 全球技術支援團隊可於需要時提供協助。
- 直接替換設計（Drop-in Replacement） ：若既有系統已使用 X-gateway，可透過 相容模式（Legacy Mode）， 延續原有控制器／PLC 設定，無需重新配置。
- 安全且具網路分段設計：支援 Secure Boot 安全開機機制，防止惡意程式入侵。 安全切換機制可鎖定設定，避免未授權修改。 系統採 網路分段設計，各網路獨立運作，僅允許已設定的資料進行跨網路傳輸。
