Each emulator channel includes a separate excitation voltage input and a bridge output. The excitation voltage port can be driven by either AC or DC power. The bridge circuit consists of three fixed resistors and a fourth programmable resistor, which can be adjusted over a narrow range of resistors for good regulation and excellent accuracy. The range of adjustment provided is sufficient to simulate quarter, half or full bridge circuits. Standard bridge impedances are 350\u03a9, 1k\u03a9, 1.5k\u03a9, 2k\u03a9 and 3k\u03a9.<\/p>\n

These modules are extremely easy to use and variable resistor elements can be programmed with simple resistance calls. The modules provide the user with the required resistance values for balancing the bridge, and the simulator's resistance values can be changed above or below these values to simulate the expansion and compression of the strain gauge resistor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
