This allows your PLC to do no additional calculation work. The gateway acts as master on the AS-Interface network and as slave on the Modbus network. The data transfer is completely transparent and has a maximum data capacity of 512 bytes in each direction.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Simple to formulate - no programming required!<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The connection between the two networks is quickly established in the Anybus Configuratuion Manager software included with the X-gateway. no programming skills are required to set up the X-gateway.
