Recently published findings, \"Scapular Component Placement in Inverse Shoulder Component Replacement Assisted by Head-Mounted Display-Assisted Augmented Reality Leads to Low Deviation Between Planned and Postoperative Parameters\" (Rojas et al., Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, 2023), demonstrated a significant improvement in surgical outcomes, accuracy, and a high degree of concordance between the postoperative data and preoperative plan in areas such as inclination (1.0\u00b0\u00b10.7 There was a high degree of consistency between the postoperative data and the preoperative plan in terms of inclination (1.0\u00b0\u00b10.7\u00b0), retroversion (1.8\u00b0\u00b11.3\u00b0), entry point (1.1\u00b10.4 mm), and depth (0.7\u00b10.6 mm).
