Becker-Warkop is an industry-leading manufacturer of mining machinery and equipment, specializing in underground transportation systems, electrical systems, control systems, communication systems and identification systems. In an actual production scenario, Becker-Warkop needed to utilize black box data loggers to capture J1939 data from mining transportation systems. To do so, they tried data logger solutions from several companies, but none of them met their storage capacity and cyclic logging requirements, as most of the solutions had a memory card capacity of only 2GB, or when the memory card was full, the logging would stop (no cyclic logging).
