Digital IO modules are used to connect to the core module to provide digital inputs and outputs to the core module.There are three versions of the I\/O modules. They all have the same 28-pin I\/O connector on the front (two rows of 14 pins per connector - two suitable 14-pin socket connectors are provided with spring loaded clip contacts for connecting up to 1.5 mm\u00b2 twisted connecting wires). In addition to the standard version with 14 digital inputs and 14 digital outputs, there are two special versions with 16 digital inputs or 16 digital outputs only.<\/strong><\/p>

By using the RevPi AIO, it is possible to connect analog sensors, actuators, temperature sensors, etc. to the core module system.The Revpi AIO is currently only available in one version, and the system will be expanded to include 4 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, and 2 RTD channels. The Con module is used to connect the Connect module in the core module to the Conenct module via the ConBridge connector, which connects a special RevPi Con expansion module to the right side of the base module. The Gateway Module is used to integrate the Raspberry Pi Core Module into an industrial network. Like all Revolution Pi expansion modules, the Gateway is connected to the Core Module via the Pi Bridge connector. The core module can use up to two gateway modules. Regardless of the bus protocol and system configuration, cyclic data exchange between the gateway and the central process image of the RevPi Core 3 occurs every 5 ms.
